CANNOT cure yeast infection,
The description of product features is misleading. I thought it was a “Natural treatment for vaginal yeast infections” as described on the website AZO Natural Yeast Symptom Prevention & Relief Tablets, 400 mg, 60-Count Boxes (Pack of 3) before ordering it. However, I was completely wrong. The warnings on the AZO package include ” This product will not cure a yeast infection”. In other words, Azo can get symptoms away but you may still have yeast infection. I think it is partially my own fault to miss the fact because the name of this product is “…yeast SYMPTOM prevention & relief” instead of “…yeast INFECTION prevention & relief”. But the product description is not clear and makes you think this is a treatment. The two star rating is mainly for the misleading description. Think about it. Would you rather have symptoms and seek help than carry yeast infection without knowing it? Good thing is Amazon gave me partial refund for the useless order. Amazon is always best.

I accidentally discovered that AZO Yeast will clear up my stubborn athlete’s foot. I bought a bottle of this years ago for the more traditional purpose and used it in conjunction with an OTC cream and then for awhile to prevent re-infection, and I was very satisfied with the product. I recently found about a dozen tablets left in the bottle, about to expire. I began taking one a day, just to use them up, as a preventative measure even though I hadn’t had a vaginal yeast infection in years. Lo and behold, my feet stopped itching, and the skin began looking better. I assumed my butenafine hydrochloride cream had started to work. A dozen days passed, I finished up the pills, and then my athlete’s foot returned! Arrgh! But I made the connection, did a little research, and discovered that athlete’s foot can indeed by caused by a yeast fungus rather than a dermatophyte, and in that case, the OTC creams won’t work. But these pills do! I’ve begun to take two a day and my feet are much better once again. In a week or so, I’ll taper off to one a day and do that for as long as necessary. Great product!

I have started using the product almost a year ago now and love it. being a girl yeast infections can be nasty. the amazing thing one a day and really i havent had a yeast infection since.
about to look into the cranberry version for urinary tract infection.
