After this, one needs to take a bath with warm water. Then you need to dry the vaginal area with a tissue properly. Doing this twice a day, for a few days, will give you relief.
• Dipping a tampon in yogurt and inserting it into the vagina will help. Does this twice a day till the symptoms go away? Best time to do this is just before going to bed at night. • Making a paste of fresh garlic pods and applying it to skin around vagina is very effective. However, this may give a burning sensation. Garlic paste can be used for yeast infection in other body parts also. Another way is to finely cut garlic pods and tie them in a muslin cloth. Then insert this into the vagina leaving a part of it hanging out so that it can remove easily.
• Vinegar is well known for its antifungal and antibacterial properties. Filling the bathtub with warm water and adding a cup of vinegar to it will help a lot. Soak in this water for at least 20 minutes. Then thoroughly dry the vagina with a tissue. Apple cider vinegar gives the best results.
How To Avoid Yeast Infection

• Wear clothes made out of natural fibers.
• Wear cotton panties.
• Do not wear synthetic clothes.
• Do not wear leotard and pantyhose every day.
